Reunited
Once upon time there was a little girl. She lived in a wonderful city
with her Mom, just her Mom, just the two of them. The Dad, he left the
picture when the little girl was two. The Little girl grew up happy,
not missing what she didn't have.
A big bad War stated, and the girl left her city, changed many cities,
few countries... Until she find a new city to stay in for Longer. She
took her Mom with her, cause she was all the girl had.
She made her own family, handpicked, best ever.
Time marched on.
The little girls is all grown up now. She loves two little boys of her
own. Her mom is in a better place for years now.
...
Three days ago, the girl put her boys to sleep and on a whim, typed in
the Flickr search tool her maiden last name.
In few steps, few leaps in cyber space, she found a connection to her
Dad. Her Dad, too, is in a better place for years now. Found and lost
in one morning. In few lines of an email.
But, the magic door opened further and behind it, two younger brothers
she never knew she had, appeared!
They are wonderful. They welcomed her. They knew about her but didn't
know how to find her. They laugh, and talk, and cry, and talk more...
34 years it took for this magic. The bridge of words is erected over
the void, the joyous leap is made, the childhood is resurrected.

I welcome my new and old, MY younger brothers, Sasha and Pedja, into my life, their worlds into my world. This is time of joy
unparalleled and incomparable with ANYTHING I have ever lived through
before.

What a wonderful story - of course, not all wonderful, but that you have found your two brothers and can share so much with them is just so great. You can find out about your dad, and suddenly you have a much bigger and happier family.... I am so pleased for you, my darlin'... I hope this helps to bring some more peace to your life as well as the tears, loads of fun, laughter and joy. And this photo is amazing too..... Thank you dearest friends, in joining me in this miracle... Your words, smiles, tears made the icing on this sweetest cake. And a lot of times, in return, the made me, but also my dear husband, cry :) He kept vigil here, and after almost every comment, he'd walk past me, look at me a bit ticked off and say:"There, you made me cry again!!!" Cause, boys don't cry, you know... tee hee...

it is a wonderful wonderful photo but the story is such an amazing story! I found my cousing after 35 years like that. We spent time together when we were kids, but then he disappeared and did not know how to find him. On the 6th of January 2008 I typed his name and I found an amazing man and family. And the link, the blood are there and brought us back together in seconds.
