Debbie Abrahams 100 afghan squares to knit

Queen of Hearts Afghan. Started this over three years ago after I completed my first knitted Debbie Abrahams blanket for Reiley. Her sister Kendall has been waiting for it for so long - I knit cats into the blanket which was not in the original pattern - it's been unfinished for so long she doesn't like cats anymore! I was in between projects, waiting for yarn in the mail that I decided to take it out. I have it pieced together I just have to add the border and do the painful weaving in of the ends on the backside.

This will definitely pass down from generation to generation, lucky girls.

It's gorgeous! Well done! I am making one for my daughter, too, only instead of cats it has one square dedicated to sports. I have been working on it for 8 years! Now all the squares are done, I just have to sew it all together, crochet a border, and weave in all of those darn ends.

Good luck! This is folded in my closet waiting for the ends to be woven in and the border. My daughter gave up on me :) She doesn't even like cats anymore! I think I'll take it down and weave in a few ends every evening ~ my 4 yr. old would love it.
