NY World's Fair 1964-1965
My Uncle Tony loved the World's Fair. Between my other uncles and him I easily went at least a dozen times over 1964 and 1965. The Unisphere was at the center of the Fair. He must have taken this from the observation towers of the New York State pavilion. In the background left is Shea Stadium with the El running in front of it. Pretty sure this was taken with his Leica.

Wow, what a shot! I went to the fair when I was almost 4 years old. I remember asking my mom about the colored panels that adorned the outside of Shea Stadium. If they ever restore the NYS pavilion, it'd be interesting to take the same shot now! And not to be nitpicky about it, but we didn't call it the "El", but either the "subway", the "Flushing Line", the "7 Train", or just plain "train". People stopped calling the els "els" when the last ones in Manhattan were demolished in the 1950's...

There are still El's in the Bronx where I grew up and we called it "the El."

Very nice photo, but why You scanned it in so "low resolution"? The theoretical of good 35mm film(like probably Your, especially because of Leica equipment) is about 18 Mpix. - 4896 x 3672 (17.98) - aspect 4:3 (1.33 - photo) or if You want other aspect 5200 x 3464 (18.01) - aspect 3:2 (1.50 - photo) . Please made it in better resolution/quality.
