    Strobist Info: There is a Sigma 530 dg Super at 1/4 power being held camera right by an assistant.

    This was an assignment to get the painters in the garden for a Chinese newspaper.

      Super lightning, really great contrast and colors. I bet the histogram is very even.

      That's an interesting comment. I wanted to know what it looked like. So here it is:

      It's about what I expected. You don't want a flat histogram although a flat histogram in camera will give you a lot of latitude in post to work with an image. What you want is an image that is sightly blown out at both ends with a peak near both ends and a valley in the middle. That would give strong darks and lights without much middle gray.

      pretty involved backing and forthing there....between lightroom and photoshop
