Ha ha... clever, but it's a coffee with 2
creams and 2 sugars. If I have to drink a
Tim's coffee (I prefer a Vanilla Bean Latte
from Second Cup... don't know if there are
Second Cup stores in Ottawa...), I order a
Large Double-Double.
"Double-Double" is about as
Canadian a bit of jargon as you'll hear.
Actually, here's another good bit... in
Atlantic Canada, well PEI and Nova Scotia
anyway, Fries with "The Works" is
french fries topped with peas, ground beef
(browned), gravy, and cheese. Now THERE's a
cardiac issue...
And now I know! Maybe I can pass with these
new tidbits? Haha.
One authentic bit of cuisine I'm dying to try
is poutine, but haven't yet heard if I can
get an authentic/good one in Toronto. Perhaps
the friends we're meeting tonight can help me
and, if not, I'll look around for fries with
"the works." They sound tremendous!

Tut, tut ... I don't think your cardiologist would approve. ;)
