Listen With Your Heart

The time has come to listen to echoes from our land...the wisdom and teachings of our Native American Indians. Their words are simple and their voices are soft. We have not heard them, because we have not taken the time to listen.

Gr8 shot, beautiful bokeh, incredible image ....Louisa's curriculum has taught American history that w/o Squanto there would have been no colony, for it was he who taught them to plant fish with corn and did so much. I was really glad there was such a focus: also it was taught (it is a Christian curriculum) that Columbus did wish to bring Jesus but not slavery [and rape and pillage] which did instead happen ......(and that people have to choose Christ with free will is the "...and the moral of this story is.....").

Wonderful shot and great message. The status of indigenous people worldwide is close to my heart. As an environmentalist, the "lack of listening" is one of the great tragedies of our time.
