Gas in Utica, NY on 8-31-05

    My brother took this with his cellphone today. I couldn't believe it. He says prices shot of at least 50 cents overnight. Since we're (in California) typically 20 cents above him, I imagine we'll see this soon.

      Still in the 2.80s range here in NorCal, but it'll be shooting up this weekend for more than one reason. Best to fill the tank now, if you can ..

      that's cheap! you try it over in England, about £4.50 a gallon, which is something along the lines of $7.50.
