MERIDIAN Combat Frame 1
A lightweight battle platform built in the Dawn Forge theme, I made this thing for the hardsuit contest. Sort of “Mech-ish” for a hardsuit, but I think it meets the contest criteria. Built over the course of 2 days, it’s kind of nice to have a quick payoff instead of taking months to build a big one. And yes it fits a mini-fig. Beauiful. Great use of creative pieces. The sticker adds a lot but I feel like it needs a bit more...not sure where though. Great job.

The oxygen tank-use is great. Awesome little anti-infantry walker.

Very nice work. I especially like the shape and stance of the legs.
One suggestion is to add more color to your MOCs for some variation, since right now everything is mostly gray/bley. :) eg, fatter highlights in some spots and/or an extra highlight color sandwiched in (eg, black lines beside the lime green ones), and/or another color (eg, black, light gray) for weapontry+mechanical+engine bits.

Awesome.
(Yeah, breaking up the dark gray would give more visual interest.)

The leg poses are great! I could see about 5 of these in a group.

Very cool, great chicken walker design. I think the hatch / top could use a smidge more detail. I also love how the hinges double as nice looking view ports

If theres any color you should add, it's light bley.
¡Viva la bley revolución!

Krush- I agree with your suggestion and actually tried the sandwich stripe thing with white but it made the body to thick. I would have liked to add more color, especially up front and in the legs, but I wanted to use lime green and I just don't have the pieces. I usually try to add some black grills and hoses as well but it just wasn't working on this small MOC. My current project already has big fat red stripes though...
DARKspawn- I agree here too but couldn't figure out how without making it too thick or interfering with the hatch design which is held together by the 1x6 tiles.
Nannan- The Peach/Bley Symbiont Combine approves.

Saw this on BS...I heart it. So much inspiration right here.

Cool, looking forward to your new project. :)
Don't listen to Nannan and his bley propaganda. He's allergic to color!

This has the right amount of color, too much if anything. I can't believe you cranked this out in 2 days.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Dennis- I appreciate the feedback but I'm afraid I'll always be a member of the PBSC. Once they have you, they don't let you go...
Keith- The basic shape and construction came together in a couple hours. The details (such as they are) take me a little longer...;-)

I know I'm coming late to the party here, but this has to be my favorite of your Dawn Forge creations. I don't really know why, I just love it!

Am I the only one that's reminded of Mirror's Edge when I see this?
