We had just gotten back from Austin, TX, and the next day went on a day trip to New Hope, PA. There was a rack of vintage leather coats that reminded me of the rock formations we saw back in Texas. Layers and layers of earthy colors.

Here is a shot of the massive interior of Hamilton Pool. The pool is in the center of what can be considered a giant stone stadium. The layers of stone sweeping around me, made by eons of water work, was colorful and inspiring.

I'm less certain about this shot than the Hamilton Pool Interior shot. What I enjoy most of this shot is the showcase of perspective this pic brings, showing the massiveness of the pool and the cave compared to a person (the white dot in the center), but I'm not so sure about the composition. Should I have included the edge of the cave's ceiling on the right most edge?

I love backlighting. I don't know what kind plant this is, but it glowed like a neon light when backlit by the strong mid day sun. This was at Zilker Garden in Austin, TX.

While walking the Alum Creek side of the Mary Mountain trail in Hayden Valley, there were several Bison bulls. They do not like the presence of people all that much. They were directly on the trail so we had to give them wide berth (100 yards), and even still they were very wary of us. I chose this picture because the two bulls were staring us down; it's one of the few times they were looking right at us and I had my camera out.
