You did this freaking hike in the winter? A friend and I tried it in September 2010 and chickened out because it was too slippery. Oh now I see you did the rope slide. Somehow I don't trust my life to random ropes left by kind souls. That guy from East Amherst who died at Decker creek chastened me quite a bit.
Oh yeah, great photo by the way! Here's my shot from the one time I was able to scramble there. I believe I did the opposite of what you did that time - hiked to the falls then scrambled UP the rope.

This is stunning Brook....fantastic detail in the ice in the forground and that shaft of sunlight is perfect. My hats off to you for hiking down....i did that about 25 years ago in winter with no ropes to help going up or down, but i got the shot and its still on my fathers wall!
