Grindstone Falls

Had to get outside with my camera last Saturday. But without any snow on the ground, I wasn't feeling very motivated. So I stopped at the closest waterfall.

A person appeared on the viewing platform in a red coat, requiring another shot:

Great use of the shutter speed. Love how the falls are of different level to give the water a much nicer run. Very nice Brook.

This is your "closest waterfall"? Wow... lucky you Brook... I'd have to drive a couple of hundred kilometres to find a waterfall as cool as this!!

Nice flow to the water. We've had a pretty normal winter in this area...not a lot of snow, but enough to keep things covered.

Really like the water flow..this is so inviting I almost wanted to touch the screen to feel the water. Great shot.

Perfectly composed. It is a beautiful shot - it's a shame there isn't some nice wintry surroundings or lush spring foliage. Brown and bare trees aren't quite the same!

Well you didn't have snow but you got a nice capture. I will never forget this winter ; the lack of snow , warm temps ,and sunny day's have been remarkable.

Nice tonal range here Brook. I like how you probably took out the blue in the falls making them more realistic.
