Dawn at Herbert Lake
Back in September, I was happily zooming along the Icefields Parkway on my way to shoot Peyto Lake at sunrise. As I was passing Herbert Lake, I happened to glance down and noticed that the gas gauge in my rental car was registering empty. Making the best of a bad situation, I stopped and grabbed a few shots of the lake before turning back to Lake Louise for gas. I wish there had been time to find a cool foreground

The colour hue here is outstanding, and so is the sharpness of the distant mountains.

I like the way the underwater rocks echo the background in a sort of V shape. Very serene scene, the mist adds a nice touch to a very calming image.

Great job working with what you had, IE no clouds. Love the hue, reflection and the rocks in the foregound. Did you leave out your name, or hide it so well I can't find it?
