Morning reflection

The frost on the patch of green grass caught my eye, but then it hit me that the reflection was way more interesting than a patch of frosty grass. This is the creek that passes behind my condo building and then winds its way into the Rattray Marsh conservation area before entering Lake Ontario. In the background you can see the remains of a piece of patio furniture - it is an urban creek, after all.

This is a great thing to see every day by where you live. And again, your colors are very nice.

Amazing how that one tree's reflection even has your name on it. That's when you MUST have known that you had to take that picture.

      That color is very cool!

I always wanted to carve my name into trees when I was a kid, but thought that would damage the bark. So now I can virtually carve away whenever I see a tree!

nice, love the green/blue to it - I wonder - does it get a run of trout from the lake in it?

    15. Thankful! (5 months ago | reply)

Never seen any trout. Or salmon, either. Behind my condo there are lots of creek chub, and in the spring the suckers are in abundance.
