Albion Falls

With steady drizzle on Saturday afternoon, I was hoping to have this place to myself. But a family of waterfall explorers arrived moments after I did. Although they wouldn't stand still, they did provide a good sense of scale.

From higher up, overlooking the falls, and not standing in the water:

So nice!!! Wow. The misty look gives it such a air of mystery and fairy tales. What a gorgeous place. Love them both but the second gets my vote.

Fabulous, Brook. I think I like the second one best. The cascade is a little brighter and there's more water action at the bottom.

My vote for the second shot also. What really draws me into both is the amazing misty look of the trees. Gorgeous!

Wow, what an amazing amount of waterflow! I think the second one has my vote, too, but great job with both shots. I hope that you have more to show us!

Yup! the second. Its sweeping motion drags the viewer with it.

Both shots are great... but I think that I might actually prefer the second one. The people do add a great sense of scale... though I'm sure they would have moved away if you'd started throwing stones at them!!? :)

The second one is perfection. Not only are the falls incredible, but the green trees make a gorgeous background.

      Fantastic shots, Brook!
You found the best time for shooting that place, young leaves on the trees were just the most awesome colour.
The second picture is more gorgeous (there is too many "unnecessary" people everywhere at the wrong time, wrong place)!

I actually like how the people give us the sense of scale.

Cool place and captures. I like the top shot best composition wise.
