Waterfront property

The shops that front onto Mill Street face the Grand River in the back.

According to Wikipedia, Elora was founded in 1832 by Captain William Gilkison, a British officer recently returned from India. Originally called Irvine Settlement, the village was renamed Elora when the post office was established in 1839. Gilikson named the community after his brother's ship, which was itself inspired by the Ellora Caves near Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India.

Beautiful. The water looks so clean and still. I was there a few days earlier, and the water was bit dirty. It's interesting that our compositions are so similar.

Your picture is very well exposed. The light looks very beautiful. The HDR processing also brings out a quite bit more details. I am planning to go back in early October, and see if I will be able to catch better light and colours. What time do you think is better for this scene? Morning or late afternoon?

Beautiful Reflections. Do they have any erosion problems on the buildings like they do in Venice? Maybe not, not as old?

This is one of the nicest views I have seen of this. The HDR looks great...The water is like glass!

@Franklin Wang, the water here is always olive stained due to the headwaters and not really "dirty" water.
