      thanks guys

Madani2012, you're gonna enjoy it. it's been pretty much perfected in its current form, I think.

I am continuously amazed by all the little things they've designed to make the shooting process a breeze. for instance, when using the quirky 6x4.5 back where the usual horizontal position of the 6x7 back is vertical with 6x4.5 and vice versa, they've cut out two holes in the mask you use on the viewfinder screen for the smaller format that the automatic viewfinder flaps for the 6x7 back orientation will cover or open correspondingly to indicate whether you're now in horizolntal or vertical orientation with the 6x4.5 back. Simple yet brilliant.

This has a fantastic feel. Feels very classic and vintage. Great lighting and contrast.

      thanks.
yes, possibly (?) but it's also been heavier and bulkier than mamiya's rz/rb system for 25 years. It's not always about picture quality; it's a balancing act for me.

It's not the only feature that makes me shoot these cameras there's obviously more to that system... the 6x7 format/ratio, rolling backs, close focus, handholdability, reliability(!), selection of lenses, availability etc. My point is that they are really well engineered and thought out cameras in general. I stopped searching for tools (cameras) when I started using the RZ and that's a proof in itself.
