La cetrería es el arte de cazar con rapaces. Biológicamente se trata
de una simbiosis (entre hombre y animal) en que ambas especies se
benefician. Uno de sus mayores expertos mundiales, Félix Rodríguez de
la Fuente, la definió como "la primera vez en que el hombre no
sometió al animal al yugo y al látigo". El humano captura,
liga el ave al propio hombre por reflejos condicionados, y entrena al
ave en la caza y en la fidelidad.
El Búho manchado (Bubo africanus) es una especie de búho de tamaño
mediano, una de las menores de los Grandes Búhos reales. Alcanza unos
45 cm de media y pesa entre 480-850 g. Su envergadura es de unos 33
cm. El disco facial es blanquecino u ocre pálido y los ojos son
amarillos.
Falconry or hawking is an art or sport which involves the use of trained raptors (birds of prey) to hunt or pursue game for humans. There are two traditional terms used to describe a person involved in falconry: a falconer flies a falcon; an austringer flies a hawk (accipiter). In modern falconry, buzzards are now commonly used, and the words "hawking" and "hawker" have become used so much to mean petty travelling traders, that "falconer" and "falconry" now apply to all use of trained birds of prey to catch game.

As I'm viewing your photostream; I'm listening to Beethoven's moonlight Sonata; Piano sonata #14 in C sharp minor; 1st movement. I find myself in a hypnotic state with many of your images.
My mind is drawn into each image like a stray fly drifting into a spiders web! Bravura! A brilliant performance.
