Parque Nacional Lanín

La entrada al Parque Nacional Lanín se encuentra aproximadamente a 22 km de la capital, Junín de los Andes.
Es muy conocido por el cónico y nevado volcán Lanín y por las opciones de turismo aventura que ofrece. Los lagos Huechulafquen y Lácar son los más visitados, pero tiene otros como el Paímún, el Curruhué, el Meliquina o el Lolog. En sus varios lagos y ríos abunda la pesca de salmones y truchas. Muchos de estos peces son cultivados en criaderos de la zona, para evitar el despoblamiento de la fauna ictícola. También cuenta con varios saltos y cascadas, entre los que se puede destacar la cascada Chachín, sobre el río homónimo.

The Lanín National Park is a national park of Argentina, located in the province of Neuquén, with forests of diverse tree varieties, mainly fagaceaes and pinophytas as the lenga and the Araucaria, many of which species can't be found elsewhere in Argentina.Within the park is located the famous Lanín volcano, with its cone shape and snowy top. It also holds the Huechulafquen, Aluminé, and Lácar lakes among other minors. In them, and the numerous rivers and streams, sport fishing of salmon and trout is practiced. The animal life of the park is similar to the southern Nahuel Huapi National Park.

The tourist city of San Martín de los Andes on the shore of the Lácar Lake serves as hub for tourist visiting the park, as well as to skiers visiting the nearby Chapelco ski centre.

    Hola Pepix.! Muy intersante toma, este año tuvimos un invierno muy largo y nevador, por eso tanta nieve hasta entrado Diciembre.
    Lo que es notable y evidente es que en 60 dias de calor intenso se desintegro la totalidad de la cobertura del volcan.
    Conoci Lanin por primera vez en el 76 y hasta este año jamas hubiera pensado que la cubierta del Lanin podria desaparecer
