Sparrow

    This shot was opportunist, rather than it being set-up or planned for. I grabbed my nearby camera when I spotted this sparrow furiously flapping its wings and hovering like a humming bird below me. I had time for only one shot and I originally discarded it because I felt there was too much movement and the tail is cropped. But I recently re-visited it and decided that although not perfect, there's something I quite like after all.

      I like it. It gives the sense of movement yet soft. I think it works wonderfully.
