I'm sad today....one of my cats is missing and I can't stop thinking about him out somewhere in the rain, hurt and hungry.....he would go nuts over this bird!!

Sorry to hear about the cat... hope it comes back.
Our next door neighbour cat used to come over and play with us - and he too recently has gone missing :(

Gorgeous shot! I'm so sorry about your cat. I work at a veterinary clinic and when people spot wandering cats they sometimes put up postings at the clinic, place an ad on craigslist, or more often call animal control. Making fliers is also good. Just some ideas, I hope you find him soon.

I have had many cats over the years, currently I have a tough 8 year old barn cat. Every night when I hear coyotes I worry too, but eventually he turns up.

sorry to hear this. i'm a cat mom and has just lost one of mine (cancer) yesterday.
how long has your cat been missing ? is he usually adventurous ? could he possibly be locked in somewhere ? or followed another kitty friend ? this happens...
if he's not back tomorrow (but i hope he will) depending on what kind of neighborhood you live in, you could start knocking at doors here & there with a picture of your cat and asking if anybody has seen him ?

Sorry to hear abut your cat but I love your photo! The bird looks very lonely, yet he is immersed in such a beautiful landscape (and light). I think placing it so much off-centered here was a very wise choice.
