Wheelchair Ramp - train

    Newer Older

Melbourne has excellent facilities for the wheechair bound. The train driver packs a portable ramp for wheelchairs.

The train where I am has ramps built into the cars themselves. Push a button and down comes the ramp. They aren't big since the difference in height between the train and platforms is 3 inches at most. Many stations are almost level.
