Marsha, i've tried to download/upload this to my blog but had no joy. can't figure out what the problem is. If you have time, can you email me a copy? thanks x

    13. Tumble Fish Studio (35 months ago | reply)

Hi Lumi! I'll email you too when I get a chance, but if you're trying click it for a larger version, I have that disabled as I do for most of my work (except the free to use textures I have). Since this is meant to be a small badge in a sidebar, I didn't think I needed to enable the "all sizes". I just have a habit of leaving things this size so people can't take the details in high quality. So, if you just right click it you can save it at the size it is. If you still want the great big giant version, let me know and I'll mail it.

    14. polychrome's palace (35 months ago | reply)

I love this! I'm putting it on my blog, with a link of course. :)

btw how do you disable the "all sizes" and download features on here. I've never been able to figure it out, but want to do it.

    15. Tumble Fish Studio (35 months ago | reply)

Hi mfauss! Okay, well let me see if I can remember . . . you have to go into your flickr "account" under the "you" button, go to "privacy and permissions" and where it asks you "who can download your stuff" mark "only you" (that disables the "all sizes"). But, I also have mine set with the next few questions that I only I can share, print, and blog my stuff. I don't have it available for yahoo searches either. You'll see all kinds of settings there. And that is also where you set your "all rights reserved" license. Hope that helps!

    16. polychrome's palace (35 months ago | reply)

Yes it does very much, thank you! I'm going to try and do it now.

    17. Theresa in MS (35 months ago | reply)

Hey Marsha, if I right click, I just get the spaceball.gif. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!!

    18. Nancy Baumiller (35 months ago | reply)

Now this is so awesomely cool...is awesomely a word? lol If it isn't it should be hee hee Thank you for starting this group and always showing your gorgeous art with us! You go girl! xoxo

    19. Tumble Fish Studio (35 months ago | reply)

Hmmm Theresa. I'm didn't know that would happen. I'll have another someone help us out on that. Maybe the settings I set up really don't let anyone download in any size, not just the big size. I am so computer stupid. You can go to my blog though and get it in the meantime. Lumi was having trouble too so let me test it out later and see what I can do.

    20. Tumble Fish Studio (35 months ago | reply)

Okay Lumi and Theresa and mfauss - in order for people to download this piece for this project I had to change it's copyright license from my default settings to a Creative Commons license on this photo only. I chose the Attribution Non derivatives license. You can read about the different kinds of licenses by hitting the link at the bottom of every flickr page where it says "creative commons" next to "explore". If you choose "all rights reserved" people will always get a spaceball. This is my default setting, but you can invidiually edit a picture to allow for downloads and sharing without giving up your copyright. Hope that helps. You geeks out there are laughing at us no doubt!

    21. polychrome's palace (35 months ago | reply)

Yes it does help, because I had trouble at first too, so thanks for the info. It's good to know that you can change copyrights on individual photos. I'm sure that will come in handy some day.

    22. Theresa in MS (35 months ago | reply)

Got it! I finally got it uploaded to my stream with the link line too. Thanks for these images and all the info. I just know that I'm going to learn so much from all of you. I've got one of my grandchildren with me this week and weekend but I want to get started on some creations so badly. Maybe I can work it in late Friday or Saturday night. All of you make me feel so blessed and so lucky to have such a great group to draw inspiration and knowledge from. I can't wait to pick all of your brains LOL

Theresa, it will come when it's supposed to. Don't beat yourself up before you even get started or you'll poop out! Believe me, we artists are really good at beating ourselves up so you'll have plenty of time to give yourself a good wallop! hee hee Just let it come . . . one day you will wake up and you will know you have to make this thing you have in your head or you will not be able to breathe one second longer . . . and then before you know it, you'll quit doing the dishes, laundry, or house cleaning. Your family will look curiously at your choice of wardrobe and unwashed hair. You will forget where you left the kitchen table and sometimes the floor. Things that used to be second nature, like falling asleep, chewing, driving and continuing an entire conversation will now take great concentration. And . . . you will be in artist heaven.

I created a badge and made this flickr account so I could add it to the group, but it only appears when I'm logged in. I don't see it when I go to your link when I'm not logged on.

    31. ~Ayala Art & Dolls (35 months ago | reply)

I want to add this to my blog, credits links and all. It is so awesome!!

    32. Sauvage Oie (35 months ago | reply)

Creatively quirky work..no mistake it's ONLY YOUR STYE, too!

Think your idea of daily CHANGING THE DISPLAY poster art works on your site-which likely is the MAIN site a passer-by who found the group would likely link into- a wonderfully SPLENDID idea!

It will help draw even more attention because all the art works submitted are all SO UNIQUE AND INDIVIDUAL ...

Even the casual viewer who "drops by" would be VISUALLY startled enough to try and discern just WHY there's a difference....MESSAGE RE-INFORCED!

      GREAT!!

I Put this on all 19 of my blogs. I write about creativity and artists and often display their work in reference to them, while advertising for them and their blogs, artwork, etc. I appreciate this addition to help with my blog responsiblity. Thank You!!

    35. Tumble Fish Studio (34 months ago | reply)

      Thank you everyone!

Sauvage, you hit the nail on the head.

Thank you itsallgroovy1! Wow baby! I am so excited about that! I will be checking out your blogs soon!

    36. Vintage Papers [deleted] (34 months ago | reply)

I was so excited to see this on Jamie's blog. I recently swapped an altered paper heart with another artist here on Flickr that I had made. She then made one identical to what I had sent and gave no credit back at all.

Needless to say it left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. I left my paper hearts up on Flickr so I could prove the date I uploaded them, but deleted most of my art because I was just too angry!

I hope this group will get artists to think about taking someones work and copy it in every detail. Thank you!

congrats for being active in this, you art is always a pleasure to look at.
Hate that there is a negativity out there.
Much more positive in the world and I will always give credit where it is due!
