Day 100 of 365

And so i make it to 100 365's! I've really been average lately. Just less time than i'm used to and i no longer have a full size tripod, something i think i have to rectify to get back to some interesting SP's.

This is taken near Battersea Power Station, the site for the photography for Pink Floyd's 1977 album, Animals.

I just HAD to go and check it out while i'm here. The angles were average, i didn't realise it was so built up around the site. I'll go back again and shoot from a different location. It was just awesome to be there, seeing the building in the flesh (pun intended) while listening to Animals. Quite surreal. The weather was very fitting, dark, grey and wet.

So onto the next 100 self portraits...

I never knew there was an actual building for this! This is too cool for a day 100 shot, Ben. I don't know if you like computer games or not, but someone made a game map to mimic this building for the game "Red Faction" (where I met Keitha), it's pretty cool. Congrats on hitting 100! Pink Floyd DoF FTW!

This is such a cool 100th, Ben! Congratulations, although I knew you could do it :)

And I hate to tell you, but you will never be average. :)

John - Yep, a real place. The story behind it is pretty funny, the pig got free of the cables and landed on farm somewhere, after flying across the flight path of an airliner. Yes the pilot did say "I see a flying pig..."

Someone else mentioned a car racing game that has Battersea Power Station as a part of the circuit. Glad you liked it mate :)

Keitha - Thanks very much, appreciated :)

Battersea gives a nice touch in the photo!
