Q:Where/when was it taken?
A: As the reader can plainly see this is a composite of signs from several locations. The signs are mainly but not all neon. Each image was individually cropped and laid out by "hand".
Q: Is there a story within or about your photograph?
A: Not much of a story. Lighted signs have been around for over a thousand years and neon signs only a brief almost century. Neon lights defined the image of 20th century city nightlife. Neon is pure light blended with craftsmanship and art a natural target for the photographer. The collage is done in a style of a poster full of trademarks.
