I started this while on jury duty...I laid a silk ribbon across one seam then did an up-down...
Just the beginnings of a unicorn from my Medieval purchase...still needs a bunch of work

I tried making resin buttons so that eventually I can do the "shisha" stitch - wish me luck...

I did the knotted buttonhole band, but started to embellish it with bullion knots Then chain stitches meandering-such fun that jury duty is!
Lin Moon inspired this one, if you can make it out-the silk as a silver teapot and tray...there are several half chevrons in rows....
I still have to go back and straighten the beads....and decorate the rest of the block, of course.
I did a lot of strip blocks for the CQ and once connected I hope they look like snowflakes...I tried to do a different stitch on each strip.
This is a beaded dragon I started.I found the pattern in a book I bought-Medieval Designs for Applique.
Just beginning to cover the seams...more to come
