After a Humbug Christmas with no decorations, I decided to see what was really cheap for leftover Christmas lights today. With an eye toward next year, I bought these candles - which run on LED lights to keep them cool and cut down energy use - for a dollar. Not a dollar each, but two for a dollar. I got enough to put in each window and I lit one up to show the color - it actually flickers. If you're an electronics dude, you know that if it flickers and it has LEDs, then it also has some sort of control chip. That's quite a bit of electronic components for 50 cents.
