1/52 (2010) Tika looks out
Tika is nearly 9 years old. She's a rescue (too much energy for previous owners) and is now an agility champion multiple times over. She's my "Craussie"--probably an Australian Shepherd cross, maybe mixed with husky. We're new 52 Weeks participants but have been watching some members' postings and checking in here occasionally for several months.

I'd have liked to get more of her below her mouth, but this was an experiment with a new fixed-length (100mm) lens with limited space and dagnabbit she kept moving! (imagine that) But I love how her eyes match the color of the wood and her expression, so after about 30 attempts I went with this.

Oh, I see from another thread that uploading multiple rejects isn't a good strategy because of people with slow connections--and because we're deliberately doing only one shot a week. OK! Lesson learned! I'll try to restrain myself in the future.
