Tonight: Short Shorts Scandinavian Pride Ride!
Part of Pedalpalooza in Portland Oregon.
Note Pre-meet up CHANGE:
Wed Jun 24: Pre meet up for the Short Shorts Scandinavian Pride Ride
is now meeting at Piccolo park - SE 28th near Clinton
Broder restaurant will not be open, their Wednesday hours haven't
started as promised. So Instead, we're having a pre-ride Scandinavian
picnic at Piccolo Park! Stop by between 5 and 7 pm. We'll make our own
open faced sandwiches! I'll bring breads and cheese. Bring any finger
food or drink: dried fish, pickled herring, jams, berries, pastries,
chocolate or if you are really amazing.. lefse! Or bring a few $ to
donate - imported food is expensive. Nearby grocery stores are People
Co-op (3029 SE 21st) and New Seasons (1954 SE Division), or if you
want to truly impress, stop by Edelweiss Sausage & Delicatessen at
the corner of SE 12th and Powell - they have plenty of Scandinavian
deliciousness and are open until 6! Okay so there isn't a place to
change into short shorts at this little park, but we'll just have to
make do.
7pm Ride Begins! Piccolo Park, SE 28th & Clinton
Oh ya! Summer's here, time show some skin you Swedes, Finns, Danes,
Norwegians and friends (all welcome to ride in short shorts!). We'll
parade our hot selves around town, and celebrate our Scandinavian
pride! Ride is somewhat participant driven upon who shows up, most
likely not a loop. Any co-leaders are welcome so this ride won't lean
too Norwegian. Uff Da! Adventure ahead or at the very least good
chocolate. Bring cash just in case. Later on 21+

I'll have to measure, my shorts are the high waisted, yet not hot pants variety, they might even be 7 in. gasp!

I'm 10 cm or 4 in. Hey I never said I was gonna wear hot pants! I'm nervous, will people be decent and check for butt crack today before coming out?
