   Really impressive photograph! I did a few shots of the moon a few weeks ago when it was a waxing crescent with the same combo of the 70-200 and TC17EII but yours turned out much nicer here! I'll have to stop it down a bit more I think. :-)

   the most PP sharpening i have ever used and i think it looks a tad oversharpened so i'm not entirely happy with it. it was @20% unsharp mask and i normally like to use 10% max.

   i really needed a tripod...oh well maybe tonight.

    Fantastic shot. Especially for handheld. Nice to have fast glass ;) Not sure I'd get a decent shot w/ my 18-200mm VR or not handheld. Will have to try it soon.

    shutter speed is 1/320s, so not that hard to handhold it with VR, but i'll take the compliment ! lol
