      It says -" My dear Ratfurstler, Thankyou for the cuckoo clock and the chocolate alpine horn. Sadly it has melted and smudged my new leder-hosen. The chalet is awaiting you once again this spring when the sheep and goats come down the mountain for the festival of watch making. Heidi and Helga send their love."

      Ah Yes, Thank you Kollage Kid for your translation.. I'd hoped it would be a clue to the rise of the Weimer Republic. Can't win them all.
