HEALTHY BODIES, HEALTHY MINDS
from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast in Portland Maine, January 18, 2010.
The event was for children 4 - 8 year old, and featured the picture books FEAST FOR 10 and MYSTERY VINE, by Cathryn Falwell. Teams of 6 - 8 kids, led by terrific volunteers, rotated through nine stations of activities. All participants received a signed copy of FEAST FOR 10, a jump rope, and other materials to take home. Books were made possible by Maine Interfaith Youth Alliance. A grand time was had by all!
