garbage cd's

    This pile of CD-R's came from the garbage room of my apartment. Sure enough, they contained the person's resume, a bunch of photos, school projects, poems, essays and scans of their passport.

    The lesson here should be to break your CD's in half before throwing them out... otherwise nerds like me will be laughing at you.

      crazy. i throw out a lot of cds, but i take a pair of tin snips to them first and cut them in half before throwing them out.

      Damn! When I moved to California, I threw out some pretty large piles of CDs. Most of them were miscellaneous crap downloads and nothing of value, but still I was conscious of the fact someone might find them when dumpster-diving.
