Walking around the Potala Palace

    Well over 50 years after the Dalai Lama left Tibet, the Tibetans still continue to walk around the Potala palace every morning, as a sign of devotion and perhaps defiance. Walking around Tibetan monasteries and temples is called a kora and is a common practice in Tibetan Buddhism.
