... I think. I really need to start writing these things down.
I had been wanting to visit Johnston Canyon for a long time, but never really had an opportunity to go. So last month I went for a drive with Chelsey and Christina to check it out and go for a hike. We turned off the highway when we saw the sign, parked the car, and started to climb.
It turns out we were supposed to drive up most of the mountain before we would find the trail, and ended up climbing Mount Edith instead.... or at least, most of it, as we had to turn around when the sun started to set.
Needless to say, I have still not seen the falls. But we did see a giant male elk eating snow off a nearby tree (which i got a very blurry photo of). So it wasn't a total bust. I guess.

The mountain range is gorgeous darling, I love it.
I also love the elk because sometimes there is just that moment in time you want to share even if it isn't technically perfect. I do it all the time, lol.
I miss you BTW.
