    I have loved this cake from the moment I saw it. I've been decorating cakes for awhile and used to teach wilton classes so I can imagine it took forever to make those flowers. My best friend is getting married in June and she has asked me to replicate this cake. I hope you are okay with that? She wants me to use the flowers that are in the wedding decorations, but there are two things she's hoping I will include. One is the chocolate leaves and also the brown sprigs that come out. I can't figure out how you did the chocolate leaves since it looks like they're on wire. Mine are too soft to do that. I aslo wasn't real sure what you used or how you made the brown sprigs. Your cake is so awesome. I hope you are willing and able to help me make my best friends wedding cake beautiful.

    HI Thanks for your message. Feel free to replica the cake - Thank you for asking though. You are right it did take forever to make the flowers and leaves. Each one is wired. I used flower paste (gumpaste) for each. The 'twigs' are plastic bear grass that I got from craft/ artificial flower stores around here. I was really lucky to be able to find dark brown.
