Good Morning Sunshine
Another beautiful start to a new day.
I want to thank all of my friends for the wonderful words of comfort this last week. It has been a hard week, and I appreciate them more than you all will ever know. I promise that I will be back to normal very soon, and seeing all of the work that you have uploaded these last few days.
Bob Dog update: We had another visit to the vet today. She is very pleased with his progress. He is no longer in pain, so we are cutting back on his meds just a bit. Now he gets them every 12 hours, instead of 8. He still will not correct his hind feet when they are placed knuckle down, but she said that he may never get that reflex back, and that it is something that we all can live with as long as he remains pain free, once we wean him off the meds. He still has to be confined to the playpen for 3 more weeks, which is when she will see him again. But today for the for the first time, he felt good enough to try to chase the birdies in the back yard....he did not get far, before his mean ole' mommy stopped him. Hey, someone has to be the adult here!

A terrific sunrise. I love taking both sunrises and sunsets. The sky never looks the same twice. They are fantastic nature shots. I love how the strength of the sun broadens out from top to bottom of the shot.

I just got back from the vet too. I didn't know about Bob Dog! Is he a Great Dane? I've seen GDs have problems with their back knuckles going under. Shasta has a similar problem, but it's related to her sluggish heart, which is causing lack of reflexes in the hind quarters. :-(((
