yup! there was a huge earthquake in 1964 that
killed a bunch of trees but since there was a
tsunami the salt water preserved all the
trees. They are preserved! It is so weird!
What a cool tree. Speaking of earthquakes, did you feel the 5.3
earthquake at 6:00 this morning? It was so
strong that I woke up to my bed creaking
because it was shaking so hard. It was pretty
creepy.
i didnt feel it cuz i was on the train but i
did hear about it! we had to stop the train a
few times at the beginning of the day so the
engineers could check the tracks. (worst case
scenario we could derail.) YIKES!
