Personally I think the model doesn't really fit the surrealistic theme.
I think a more "strnge-looking"-model (the skinny kind with huge eyes and a big forehead, basically the alien type;)) could make the image stronger.
Different styling of the model however could do the trick (so for instance go with a dress so you can see movement in the fabric, also changing the colour of the clothing to blue (to match the background) or to a completely different colour could make the image more interesting in my opinion)
