I found this Black and Yellow Argiope male spider in one of my flower gardens. The females are much larger and can reach 3/4-1 1/8". Spiders are not my favorite creatures but I like the Argiope's color and design. It makes zig zag lines in it's web.

HBW to you Rita! It looks like he is missing a leg! But doing ok anyway, I guess. I greatly dislike spiders but I don't mind these since they know their place ---- and stay there! I've never seen one of these in the house. Besides, they are so pretty and their webs so interesting. Thanks for sharing your new colorful friend :-)
