26/365 Apple

We thought she would relish a day of apple picking and pluck them from the trees with wild abandon. Instead she picked just one and carried it around with her through the length of the orchard, stopping to study it from time to time.

Love this with the focus on the apple and the little hands.
Perfect crop with the hat brim!

So sweet how the hat brim obscures her eyes, but we know she's looking at her apple -- the set of her mouth suggests with concentration. Beautiful warm autumn light too. Can this go into your "hands" set, or is there too much face showing? : )

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called A Shot (per day), and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Awwwwww. This is truly an adorable shot, Meshl. Nice work.

      Thank you all!

Justmakeit: I will add it to the hands set, thank you for catching that. I can be a pretty haphazard custodian of my own sets, for example my "nature" set has only 14 photos, clearly not matching my overreliance on nature as a subject :)

what a wonderful shot and an even better story. so typical of munchkins her age, eh? Love the fact that the hat is hiding much of her face with just the sweet cheeks and mouth peeking out!

How precious! All you really need is one apple, isn't it?
