restore

new sermon series called Restore. Wanted to take a "Dear Photograph" kind of approach to it. The series will look at the way things ought to be, the way things God intended, and how our lives and world need a restoration. Had a photographer go downtown and shoot some city streets and then I went all post-apocalyptic on it.

I liked it more subtle, but I understand the desire to try new things and push boundaries.

yeah, they came back and asked me to add more destruction to the center building.

Your Photoshop skills are sick....in a great way of course...One thought I just thought of, what if you darken out the destroyed stuff and pop the restored part a bit so its more obvious. I get it but might help to try and go further. Maybe try making the restore window larger proportionally. Good start though.

    Really nice work Paul!

Not for sure the font choice & placement is working?

yeah the type placement makes me a little claustrophobic... like it either needs to be covered by the thumb, or not so close. If that makes sense. Either way- this is a great concept with great execution.

    one more version.

What if you did the restore in a simple and clean Helvetica. Seems more appropriate for the use here instead of a grunge font. Maybe I suffer from over thinking on this but looks great either way.
