This is my first stab at our Easter graphic. This is heavily inspired (aka, ripped off) by abbyincolor's mission poster. (here)

i like it a lot. love the texture and type you're using.
do you think it would work to integrate "jesus is" with the style of the rest of it, but make it a stand out color?

I'm pretty sure that's not what the group is about. In my opinion, you don't need to run art that is this close to someone else's. Or at least make sure you get permission from the original artist or modify it so that it's not too heavily inspired. It looks good though, just be sure to be "above reproach" when it comes to stuff like that.

Me likey. I like the texture you added to it too. Looks great. The only think bugging me a bit is the placement of "Easter @ MFC"...wonder if you can place it right under Jesus is instead or on the left side...not sure what it will look like.

Abby thanks for the clarification...lunchbox, I know you were trying to be funny but within a group of designers, a group that gets ripped off often, I'd suggest better jokes. I know you meant nothing by it, but no this group is not about giving people ideas to rip off.

Paul will borrow designs. Paul also will ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS ask for permission, and then give credit and I mean ALWAYS. There is no crime in that. EVER. Paul is an upstanding man, he has respect for art and design, he has a love for artists, and he himself is growing as an artist. He works more hours than any father should, and he devotes more time than I ever would. I would freely give of what ever resources I have to him knowing full well of just honorable this man is. I only wish I had more time and energy to help guys like Paul. They are certainly worth it in my book, and I am one jaded guy. I don't like very many christians, but I love Paul.
