Its the steamy wiped widow that tells 1/2 the story and sets the scene. Great colours and very DylanThomas

      Interesting reflection on looking!

Knew it was you when I opened the shot - very relaxed feel - cool

      All draped together - fantastic!

Thanks for the comments. I really wasn't sure about this one for the instruction: I can justify it to myself as an idea but it doesn't match up to the spirit as much as others.

PS it was raining when I was out!

I like the subtlety of this, and the light frames her nicely. Good one!

Beautiful balance of subtle color and light.

I really like the gentle charm of this image. I know they must get huffed up windows elsewhere, but to me this looks so quaintly English.

Very many thanks for your observations.

      Nice one!

Very charming indeed. Sian74 has put it succinctly. But to me it looks more 'quaintly' Welsh and very N.E.

It's a lovely shot - the linkages of the blues and yellows are really good

Like Karl, I guessed whose this was! Colours, light and composition are so subtly beautiful.
So theatrical with the flowing curtains but the drama is obviously happening outside.

Lovely shapes and form and a well captured moment of people working together.

I really like this, the positioning of the characters and all those yellows and blues.

We could compromise on British perhaps! Thanks.

      You're very kind - thanks!

Subtle light that picks out the profile of the woman on the right. Tricky to do this brief in the rain, but do like this image very much.

Colours fit nicely with this soft light.

Not enough tabard & apron action in SP. This redresses the balance very well!

      Thanks.

I love all the curves in the compo and the light on her face is a perfect answer to the brief

Love the matching yellows. I think I recognise this as your favourite winter cafe? Lovely image.

Thank you...and I think that you have rumbled me!
