It is great to have a Bavarian Pope "Benedict XVI" who enjoys some of the finest beers anywhere (Bavarian organic Weizen "Wheat" Beer). In this photo, Cardinal Joseph "Sepp" Ratzinger of Bavaria was drinking a Weizen in its correct glass before he was named Pope Benedict XVI in 2005. The ancient Bavarian German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) allows no chemical preservatives or chemical additives to beer malt, hops and water used to brew beer.

My maternal Great-Great Grandfather Henry Samuel Batman of Curby (in Crawford County) Indiana. He served in Company "H', 49th Indiana Infantry Regiment in the US Army (Union Army/Northern States) during the US Civil War.
