- Some clouds passing by Mount Rainier
Lake Washington Sunrise
I was in Seattle for a few days and I have to say that the state of Washington is a beautiful place. I left the hotel early to beat traffic because I wasn't sure how bad it would be after. I had a little time to spare so I grabbed my trusty GPS and found a spot on Mercer Island just in time to catch a beautiful clear morning looking towards Mt. Rainier. This picture probably doesn't do that mountain justice because I'm using a wide angle but Mt Rainier is HUGE. The only clouds in the sky were the ones you see in the picture floating by Mount Rainier. No Border Version
