      looks like the lens is a keeper. i thought the back of the lens would protrude too far back to prevent it from being used on a Fed camera, but i was wrong.

      Very little of the lens actually protrudes into the camera, the lens is very compact.
      With introduction of the Leica digital cameras 28mm lenses for the leica mount have bemome very expensive.

      The Fed 2 will also mount the Jupiter 12 35mm f/2.8 which sits 3/8" from the shutter curtains.
