Vacation Bento
The other day the husband and I loaded up the baby in the car and took an impromptu trip to the foothills for a destination my family fondly calls 'The Cabin.' We only left for the day but my aunt, cousins, and mom had been there the week. They had no idea we were coming, and with cell phone signal strength nonexistent in that area, we gave them a humongous surprise by showing up on their doorstep at lunch time.
Since they weren't expecting us we packed up the bentos before we left town. I was made ravenous by the sun and the swimming, so the roasted cauliflower in the fourth bento container is not pictured. I ate it before I remembered to snap a picture.
All of this happened on Friday, which is why I didn't post an Archive Friday photo. I'm certainly not giving up on this project, especially not now--I'm nearly out of disk space to store all my photos. I mean, really almost out. The computer is begging me to delete things and won't let me save new things out. Also, I'm having some issues with some software. Things might be okay over here, but, on the other hand, I might be scarce for a few days due to technical difficulties.
