It's fun driving through puddles (and Anna & I can't decide which photo we like best)!

My LAM (Little Agricultural Machine) being driven by my beautiful wife (who's a wee bit shorter than me, so is sitting VERY low in my car) through one of the huge puddles that so typify this drought.

I happened across some wild snakeshead fritillaries on a run the other day, in their "natural" habitat (uncultivated Thames Valley flood meadows in Oxfordshire).
A nice surprise.

Oilseed rape. Lovely colour. Horrid smell.

Well... it is Easter weekend after all, so a little homage to very possibly the worst line in cinema history (for many, many reasons) (John Wayne in George Stevens' 1965 epic, "The greatest story ever told").
