Las Bodegas Ysios están situadas en la zona de Laguardia, con la Sierra de Cantabria de fondo. El edificio que las alberga ha sido diseñado por Santiago Calatrava.
La obra se basa en dos muros portantes de hormigón armado con una separación de 26 metros entre ellos. Dichos muros están revestidos por lamas verticales de madera cuperizada (madera tratada con sales de cobre). Estos muros trazan una linea sinusoide, actuando como cerramiento.
La cubierta está formada por vigas de madera que apoyan sobre los
muros laterales, describiendo así una superficie ondulada. El material
empleado en su acabado exterior es aluminio, que contrasta con la
madera de los muros. El interior de la bodega acompaña la concepción
vanguardista del exterior.

Ysios The winery is located in the area of Laguardia, in the Sierra de Cantabria background. The buildings designed by Santiago Calatrava.
The play is based on two bearing walls of reinforced concrete with a separation of 26 meters between them. These walls are covered with vertical wood slats (wood treated with copper salts). They draw a line sinusoid walls, acting as an enclosure.
The cover is made up of wooden beams that support the side walls, thus describing a wavy surface. The material used is aluminum exterior finish, which contrasts with the timber walls. The interior of the cave came the avant-garde design from the outside.
