      Absolutely beautiful! I'm just a beginner quilter, but I'm getting there! I wish I could quilt like this! Do you freehand motion this or is there some sort of pattern you follow?

      The quilting is all freehand, no pattern (but the quilt patten is now available). Have a look at Karen McTavish's website: www.designerquilts.com/products.html for more examples of the quilting style, then just practice a LOT with pen and paper; it'll get you used to the design and teach your muscles the moves before you move to a quilt and thread. Her books are great, too.
